I'm standing on this rad bridge in Paris, right at sunset, and guess what? I spot this young couple nearby. They're all lovey-dovey, stealing glances and being all adorable. Obviously, I had to whip out my camera and capture their magical moments. I then used the new photoshop AI tool to generate a ‘fake’ Eiffel Tower to replace the building in the background. Let me know what you think of the result. I hope this couple sees this ❤️ #photography #videography #photographyideas #paris #photoshop #AI
It is DONE! After 2 months of hiking, I have finished Te Araroa. Yeah, I did skip a bit of road walking on the north island due to time constraints and trail closures but my journey here is complete! I wanted to finish with an absolute bang and what better way than to hike the infamous 90-mile beach in a single day. I started at sunrise and walked all day and night. I conquered the beach before having to detour around the last 10km section of the trail because it had been closed. Some bush bashing and road walking brought me to the highway where I got a ride for the last 10km of road. A few more KMs of walking took me to Cape a Reinga Lighthouse, the northern terminus on TA. You beaut. Thank you all for your support along this trek - your support has blown my mind! Stay tuned for more content answering some FAQs from Te Araroa and plenty of new adventures as well! Day 61: 105.4km(10km via car), 729m elevation gain Total: 2,135.1km, 60.519m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike

Hello Auckland! After skipping 150km of road walking yesterday from Hamilton I enjoyed some more city walking through New Zealand’s biggest city. It’s actually a really beautiful city, I climbed Mt Eden and walked along some incredible beaches and coastline. I also took a ferry ride across the harbour(official TA route) which was cool. Continuing north from Auckland tomorrow, staying on the east coast. The weather was terrible today - hoping it improves. Also, my tendon injury seems to be on the mend, might push for a big day tomorrow. Day 56: 38km, 626m elevation gain Total: 1,883.1km, 55,700m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike
I rode the Timber Trail! 80+kms on the MTB today made for my biggest day on the TA so far. The trail was beautiful, through forests and over mountains with some epic views. Had some great fun on the downhills and hated every uphill, about what you would expect biking! Made me miss riding my MTB back home. Back on 2 feet tomorrow. Day 54: 81km, 1,653m elevation gain Total: 1,807.1km, 53,921m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike
Big city life! 🏙️ I’ll be skipping about 150km of road walking from Hamilton to Auckland after today but I wanted to walk the city and surrounding trails of Hamilton first. The river walk through town was lovely and despite some mud and overgrown trail on the Hakarimata Range, it was a pretty fun section of trail north of the city. Day 55: 38km, 1,153m elevation gain Total: 1,845.1km, 55,074m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike
2 months hiking Te Araroa! 🤯 Today was pretty chill, despite more wind and rain. Beach walking, some beautiful mountain tracks and lots of road. I had to detour around an estuary crossing due to high tide. I am flying out of the country in 4 days, so tomorrow I’ll be driving with my wife to Ahipara to walk my final couple of days along 90-mile beach to Cape Reinga! Day 60: 28.2km, 620m elevation gain Total: 2,029.7km, 59,790m elevation gain
What a wild day! With some terrible weather forecasted all day I headed straight back onto the beach for the morning. The rain held off but it was super windy and the beach was incredibly beautiful. I could see some huge coastal mountains in the distance all day and knew I would spend my afternoon climbing them. Unfortunately, the rain showed up hard as I ascended the ridge line and I was drenched to the bone. I also didn’t quite get to see the views that I would expect would be there on a clear day. Oh well!! Day 59: 35.8km, 1,012m elevation gain Total: 2,001.5km, 59,170m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike
Big day! With my body feeling the best it has in weeks I decided to aim for around 50kms today. Walked along some beautiful Auckland coastline all morning before heading into farm and bush for the second half of the day. Some great views and mostly easy walking! Hoping to smash out a similar distance tomorrow as I inch towards Cape Reinga. Day 57: 47.6km, 1,229m elevation gain Total: 1,930.7km, 56,929m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike
A very muddy and wet start to the day turned into some stunning beach walking all afternoon. The first 10kms were gross, with shin-deep mud, rain and wind, and crappy trail. I broke one of my poles through that section. But then I headed back onto the coast and the beaches were pristine and beautiful, despite the weather continuing to be pretty crappy. A final road walk into the town of Mangawhai capped off a decent day. Day 58: 35km, 823m elevation gain Total: 1,965.7km, 58,158m elevation gain #teararoa #newzealand #thruhike
